摘要: Listening to speech is one of our favorite activities. Our ears and brain are increasingly solicited by sounds, as means communication — radio, TV, most recently, the mobile phone continue develop. Fortunately, in instances processing native language rapid, automatic, efficient. However, this remarkable seemingly effortless ability understand from diverse speakers various situations ranging face conversations filtered received transmissions fact hides a highly complex cognitive device. As complexity only becomes truly apparent when device damaged, case aphasia, or presented with that it does not master, placed an experimental situation particularly difficult constraining.
