摘要: The Stark widths of the Ne VII $2s3s\ensuremath{-}2s3p$ singlet and triplet lines are calculated in impact approximation using quantum-mechanical convergent close-coupling Coulomb-Born-exchange approximations. It is shown that contribution from inelastic collisions to linewidths exceeds elastic width by about an order magnitude. Comparison with measured a hot dense plasma gas-liner pinch indicates significant difference which may be naturally explained nonthermal Doppler effects persistent implosion velocities or turbulence developed during implosion. Contributions linewidth different partial waves types interactions discussed as well.
