摘要: Recent studies indicate that multiple nutritional abnormalities occur relatively early in the course of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection. Decreased plasma levels vitamins B6, B12, A, and E zinc have been correlated with dietary intake associated significant alterations immune response cognitive function. To determine level consistent normal nutrient levels, we examined nutrition status relation to food consumption supplementation HIV-1-seropositive (HIV+) -seronegative (HIV-) homosexual men. The mean total (diet plus supplements) for all nutrients was significantly higher HIV+ achieve values, men appeared require multiples recommended allowance (RDA) E, B12 zinc. For men, a high proportion biochemical deficiency vitamin B6 at RDA level. Because little evidence observed elevated both groups, an effective program may be beneficial maintaining adequate levels.
