摘要: In ionic crystals and metals the coupling constant of a quadrupolar nucleus can often be written in simplified form eQ(Δe)(1—γ∞). The polarization factors 1—γ∞ were calculated previous work by T. P. Das, E. G. Wikner, R. Bersohn. present Δe are lattice sums. Under favorable circumstances good estimate nuclear quadrupole moment Q made. When is known other means, information about distribution charges may obtained. It shown, for example, that Al2O3 essentially ionic. agreement between experimental observed constants proves field gradients long‐range origin contrast to molecular crystals.
