摘要: This action research project sought to incorporate character development education into a kindergarten classroom, with focus on respect, responsibility, and cooperation. A behavior checklist was used by the teacher parents demonstrate need for education.and document improvement. Anecdotal records were also kept throughout project. Project interventions included behaving as role model through creation of democratic classroom class meetings; incorporation curriculum; use cooperative learning activities multiple intelligences; involvement in process transfer desired life skills. Post-intervention data indicated improvement among some children; however, more time recommended achieve results. (Eight appendices include students' traits, activity sheets, survey materials.
