Comparison of sodium hyaluronate and methylcellulose in extracapsular cataract extraction

摘要: Extracapsular cataract surgery with posterior chamber lens implantation was performed in a total of 30 patients. These were randomly divided into two groups. In one group sodium hyaluronate 1% (Healon®) used as tool surgery, the other methylcellulose 2% used. The viscous substances irrigated out eyes at conclusion surgery. Central corneal thickness, intraocular pressure, and aqueous flare recorded until month post-operatively. There no difference thickness between mean pressure lower than pre-operatively both groups compared to during first part observation period.
