摘要: Abstract Two experiments were undertaken to study the response of White Leghorn hens low dietary phosphorus levels from 18 64 wk age. A corn-soybean meal diet containing .2% available gave similar performance, up 32 age, as a control .4% phosphorus. Beyond wk, although shell quality and average egg weight similar, production was significantly reduced with lower diet. Phosphorus excretion (grams per bird day) averaged .47 g for vs .28 when measured at 28 In second experiment identical procedures number used in Experiment 1 employed exception that test contained 3% rather than No differences noted any variables between .4 .3% diets. data collected 25, 32, 44, 60 age showed decrease approximately 20% receiving Indeed overall calculated be total content this (.59 .47%).
