摘要: Thirty-five patients with non-oat-cell primary bronchogenic carcinoma were studied computed tomography (CT) and retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the usefulness of CT in preoperative staging. All underwent mediastinoscopy, those a negative exploration referred for thoracotomy. Computed demonstrated lymph nodes 31 patients, 17 them having larger than 1 cm. Malignant involvement was present only 2 these patients. However, nodal five less cm diameter. Nine out 10 who proved unresectable at thoracotomy correctly evaluated CT. Five additional incorrectly presumed be unresectable. The use staging lung tumors, therefore, needs further investigation.
