Revision of the Italian Magnetic Database for the Albegna basin (South Tuscany, Italy)

摘要: A comparison between ground level total magnetic field intensity anomaly map (F) of Italy and the aeromagnetic by ENI/AGIP, had shown that an pattern for Albegna basin (South Tuscany), quite evident from measurements, doesn’t show in map. Ligurian units, made ophiolite blocks (metagabbros, basalts, serpentinites), intrusives subordinate volcanic products, all able to trigger a strong signal, could not be excluded area, this reason estimated measurements was considered unreasonable. In paper result survey finalized verify authentic existence such large basin, is reported.
