摘要: A comparison between ground level total magnetic field intensity anomaly map (F) of Italy and the aeromagnetic by ENI/AGIP, had shown that an pattern for Albegna basin (South Tuscany), quite evident from measurements, doesn’t show in map. Ligurian units, made ophiolite blocks (metagabbros, basalts, serpentinites), intrusives subordinate volcanic products, all able to trigger a strong signal, could not be excluded area, this reason estimated measurements was considered unreasonable. In paper result survey finalized verify authentic existence such large basin, is reported. On basis new result, suspected demonstrated non-existent then Italian Magnetic Database corrected accordingly. Measurements procedures brought elements elaboration maps are here.
