摘要: Incidence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) is remarkably high among patients with chronic kidney (CKD), even in the early microalbuminuric stages normal glomerular filtration rates. Proximal tubule cells (PTCs) mediate metabolism and urinary excretion vasculotoxic substances via apical basolateral receptors transporters. These also retrieve vasculoprotective from circulation or synthesize them for release into circulation. PTCs are involved uptake sodium phosphate, which critical hemodynamic regulation maintaining mineral balance, respectively. Dysregulation PTC functions CKD likely to be associated development CVD linked progression end-stage renal disease. In particular, dysfunction occurs diabetic nephropathy, a leading cause CKD. It therefore important elucidate mechanisms develop therapeutic strategies treating cardiorenal syndrome diabetes.
