Extended Analysis of the Spectrum of Triply-ionized Ytterbium (Yb IV) and Transition Probabilities

摘要: The spectrum of Yb IV has been reinvestigated and its analysis extended. present work is supported by the comparison line intensities with transition probabilities derived from Cowan (1981) codes. Starting first Sugar, Kaufman Spector (1978), number established levels increased 111 to 193, including high excitation new 4f127s + 4f126d even configurations. Of 1023 classified lines about one half are new. Computed given for selected lines.
