Testicular Seminoma Metastasizing to Palatine Tonsil

摘要: Patients presenting with Stage I seminoma of the testis have an excellent prognosis after treatment by orchidectomy and prophylactic radiotherapy to paraaortic pelvic lymph nodes. Only 2% subsequently recur but relapse in these cases has been reported unusual sites such as prostate mesentery. We report a case relapsing another rare site for secondary malignant deposits, palatine tonsil. This further illustrates favourable this tumour even distant recurrence.
