摘要: We propose what we believe is a novel method for enabling the complete suppression of noise due to Rayleigh scattering in sodium laser guide star systems by means selective discrimination between and fluorescence signals based on polarization properties. show that, contrary nearly 100% polarized scattering, from D2 line strongly depolarized under excitation modeless laser. This offers possibility completely cancelling effects background while preserving signal about 40% its maximal value, leading an improvement signal-to-noise ratio several orders magnitude. Both theoretical experimental data confirm this new proposal.
