Using thought mapping and structured stories to decrease HIV risk behaviors among cocaine injectors and crack smokers in the South of Brazil

摘要: OBJETIVOS: Comparar as mudancas em conhecimento sobre AIDS e comportamentos de risco usuarios cocaina brasileiros submetidos a uma intervencao experimental. METODO: 119 sujeitos foram aleatoriamente designados para padrao ou adicionada um "mapa cognitivo", re-entrevistados duas oito semanas apos admissao no estudo, utilizando-se instrumentos coleta padronizados. Os efeitos da examinados utilizando modelo equacoes estimacao generalizadas. RESULTADOS: Foram observados aumentos significativos uso preservativos grupo experimental, bem como modificacoes significativas nos subescores sexual drogas. A experimental teve menos sucesso diminuir dias quando comparada com padrao. CONCLUSAO: Apesar nao serem robustos, os achados sugerem que componentes do mapa cognitivo experimentados poderiam ser uteis combinacao outras abordagens.
