摘要: This paper describes the use of multiple interconnected handheld devices to support children's collocated collaboration. Handhelds are a relatively inexpensive, highly mobile platform, making them potentially useful in educational settings [3]. Two shortcomings students' handhelds are: 1) achieving benefits collaborative learning may be difficult given personal nature these devices, and 2) small size PDA constrains amount information that can meaningfully displayed. We address by utilizing form larger surface display more than any individual handheld. interaction technique encourages collaboration helps engage all students activity. To explore this style collaboration, we extended an application with shared screen view call WHAT-IF1.
