摘要: This research explores the experience of female police officers in Metropolitan Police Buenos Aires, which began providing public safety 2010. The purpose this is to better understand barriers and opportunities are encountering new context community policing Latin America. With understanding, law enforcement officials will be equipped ensure that achieve at highest levels organizations. Responding identified civic duty as a primary reason for joining force. Female did not report significant institutional discrimination but informal disparaging treatment, including sexual harassment. results suggest young force matures, should pay close attention emerging culture organization, many common negative aspects it have already started form.
