摘要: In this chapter the more important psychometric measures of sensation seeking construct are described. The personality trait was proposed by Marvin Zuckerman at beginning 1960s and, since then, several have been developed author and other different authors. This is involved in many human behavioral traits originally based on optimal level (cortical) arousal theory as an explanation individual differences interaction between intensity sensory stimulation arousal. Later focused three limbic systems their monoamine neurotransmitters regulating enzymes. Zuckerman’s Sensation Seeking Scales (SSS) evolved from Form II to VI, but most widely used has V. Later, Kuhlman a model five basic factors, one which called Impulsive (ImpSS, Zuckerman–Kuhlman Personality Questionnaire; ZKPQ, 89-items). Recently, Aluja et al. elaborated new version old ZKPQ Zuckerman–Kuhlman–Aluja Questionnaire (ZKA-PQ) that provides 20 facets organized factors 200-items. ZKA-PQ includes (Aggressiveness, Neuroticism, Activity, Extraversion Seeking). Each factor four composed following: SS1 (Thrill Adventure Seeking), SS2 (Experience SS3 (Disinhibition) SS4 (Boredom Susceptibility/Impulsivity). information research properties various SS scales similar investigators. Most studies published before 1991 covered (1994) book.
