摘要: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) were the earliest characterized and most extensively studied pathogen recognition (PRRs). The majority of tetrapod TLR orthologs have been found in teleost fish. In addition, a group “fish-specific” TLRs identified. catfish, number TLR-related sequences reported, but systematic phylogenetic analyses not conducted. this study, we conducted comparative analysis 20 catfish genes against their counterparts from various species. TLR25 TLR26 are identified only channel catfish. Phylogenetic suggested that four duplicated copies genome, i.e., TLR4, TLR5, TLR8, TLR20. Six fish-specific identified, vast these belong to TLR11 subfamily. healthy tissues, tested ubiquitously expressed although expression levels varied among 11 tissues. We nine for response Edwardsiella ictaluri infection. They significantly up-regulated spleen liver, down-regulated head kidney, suggesting involvement immune responses intracellular bacterial tissue-specific manner perhaps through rapid migration phagocytes infection sites.
