摘要: Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) are the subject of intensive research worldwide due to a number novel properties, which make them interest for both fundamental science and technological applications. QDs particular solar cell applications their ability increase efficiency via generation multiexcitons from single photon. The multiexciton (MEG) in colloidal is determined by competition between MEG other hot electron-cooling processes. Core/shell with type-II band alignment offers extra degrees freedom mediating optical dipoles Coulomb interaction charges such structures benefit elevated efficiency.
