摘要: BACKGROUND The development of non-animal alternatives for skin sensitization potency prediction is dependent upon the availability a sufficient dataset whose human well characterized. Previously, establishment basic categorization criteria 6 defined categories, allowed 131 substances to be allocated into them entirely on basis information. OBJECTIVES To supplement original with an extended range fragrance substances. METHODS A more fully described version was used assess 89 chemicals, allowing their allocation one categories. RESULTS None were assigned most potent group, category 1, whereas 11 2, 22 3, 37 4, and 19 5. Although none identified as non-sensitizing, note that in 5 also do not pass threshold regulatory classification. CONCLUSIONS combined datasets >200 placed categories solely data provides essential resource elaboration evaluation predictive methods.
