摘要: Stereotypes about gender differences in math and English ability are pervasive. The current research decomposes stereotypes order to examine the relationship between four independent components of these (i.e., stereotypic men-math association, counter men-English women-math women-English association) students' sense fit English. 371 undergraduate men women from a private university located Southern United States participated study. Participants completed Go/No-Go Association Task (GNAT) assess stereotype components, followed by composite measures For women, association ingroup stereotypes), not associations outgroup predicted men, only We discuss implications findings for interventions aimed at improving academic fit.
