摘要: We use a theoretical approach to examine the effect of radial fluid flow or electric current on growth and homeostasis cell spheroid. Such conditions may be generated by drain micrometric diameter. To perform this analysis, we describe tissue as continuum. include active mechanical, electric, hydraulic components in material properties. consider spherical geometry study dynamics aggregate. show that steady imposed could able significantly change spheroid long-time state. In particular, our work suggests growing can systematically driven shrinking state if an appropriate external field is applied. Order-of-magnitude estimates suggest such fields are order indigenous ones. Similarities differences with case tumors embryo development briefly discussed.
