Bis(2-hydroxyalkyl)-terephthalate was model compound. The applied in compositions Bisphenol A-based low-molecular-weight resins. It found that led to improvement tensile flexural strengths, hardness, thermal stability. Better results obtained longer fragments. incorporation alkylether chains from not only increased water absorption but also improved chemical stability against 10% HNO3, 75% H2SO4, ethyl acetate.
