摘要: This paper analyses the influence of weather variables on efficiency electricity distribution utilities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru. The data covers 82 firms that operate previously mentioned countries which represent more than 90 per cent market energy delivered for period 1998-2008. stochastic frontier analysis (SFA) is applied with a translog input distance function approach. A combination cost cost-quality models proposed to create better discussions. Results suggest average under there significant increase when incorporated production function. Firms Brazil Peru those less favourable conditions. Under models, effect much lower.
