摘要: Although allele expression imbalance has been recognized in many species, and strongly linked to diseases, no whole transcriptome detected pigs during pathogen infections. The Streptococcus suis 2 (SS2) causes serious zoonotic disease. Different pig breeds show differential susceptibility/resistance infection, but the biological insight is little known. Here we analyzed allele-specific (ASE) using spleen of four belonging two phenotypically different after SS2 infection. comparative analysis specific SNPs between control infected animals revealed 882 1096 statistically significant differentially expressed (criteria: ratio≧2 or ≦0.5) Landrace Enshi black pig, respectively. Twenty nine allelically imbalanced were further verified by Sanger sequencing, later six quantified pyrosequencing assay. results are agreement with RNA-seq results, except SNPs. Looking at role ASE predisposition discovery causative variants might help industry long term design breeding programs for improving resistance.
