New approach to the manipulation of color display images

摘要: Different kinds of color models were tested in typical monitor image manipulation applications. considerable attention was paid to different ways adjusting the tone rendering (or luminance component) images. Other measures, such as adjustment grey balance and saturation, also discussed. The studied included RGB, HSV, HLS CIELUV co-ordinate systems, new Ls(alpha) space, which developed specifically for purposes. In tests, systems primarily assessed according how ell they allowed free brightness without affecting other components (i.e. hue saturation). these visual L component space proved be most suitable with a curve.
