摘要: Objective To evaluate the performance of a computer-controlled monitor bladder pressure in prevention transurethral resection (TUR) syndrome. Patients and methods The vitro loss catheters endoscopes different size was measured for irrigant flow rates 0–500 mL/min to calibrate them before surgery. The calibrations were used computerized monitoring system designed control during TUR prostate (TURP). assessed randomized study 53 patients with adenoma or carcinoma (Group A, 27 unmonitored patients; Group B, 26 monitored patients). primary criterion evaluating absorption irrigating fluid level glycine blood. Results When capsule perforation included analysis, there no statistically significant difference mean between groups, although levels highest particularly those cases (four A; two B). When results excluded from incidence groups. extent not related duration operation (which shorter B) nor weight chippings. Conclusion The continuous TURP effectively reduced fluid, making procedure safer patient easier surgeon.
