摘要: Selective oxidation of hydrocarbons to more functional oxygenated compounds is a challenging task for industrial research. Here we report the synthesis highly crystalline Ce1−xSmxO2 (x = 0–0.1) using supercritical water and their excellent catalytic activity selective (ethyl benzene, n-butylbenzene, biphenyl methane, 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro naphthalene, cyclohexene cyclopentene) corresponding ketone through activated proton. Materials characterization results revealed formation small cube shaped nanoparticles (∼8–10 nm) with exposed (100) facet exhibiting surface area 83–96 m2 g−1. The study that Ce0.95Sm0.05O2 active towards stable sp3 hybridized C–H bond different hydrocarbons. superior most probably due its high area, degree crystallinity energy presence large amount Ce3+. In optimized condition as 90% conversion ethyl benzene 87% selectivity acetophenone was observed. Among other substrates n-butylbenzene cyclopentene showed 100% 60% 73% respectively. catalyst re-usable minimum 5 times without any deactivation activity.
