摘要: This study examines the longitudinal relationships between child smoking and secondhand smoke exposure (SHSe). Participants were 222 parent-child dyads. The parents smoked, had a with (48%) or without asthma, enrolled in smoking/health intervention. Parent-reported SHSe was measured at baseline 4, 6, 12-month follow-ups; self-reported assessed these points 2-months. A parallel process growth model used. Baseline correlated (r = 0.30). Changes moved tandem as evidenced by correlation linear slopes of (r = 0.32), slope quadratic (r = - 0.44). Results may inform interventions potential to reduce among children increased risk due their parental smoking.
