Machine learning in human cancer research

摘要: Evidence-based medicine has grown in stature over three decades and is now regarded a key development of modern medicine. The evidence base can be heterogeneous, involving both qualitative knowledge measured quantitative data. Data analysis the area cancer research for long been playing field statisticians but, last decade, Machine Learning (ML) methods have also begun to establish themselves an alternative promising approach computer-based data oncology. In this chapter, we provide state-of-the-art main areas which ML are currently being applied, discuss some advantages disadvantages their application. We comment on illustrate integration clinical oncology decision support systems.
