摘要: PURPOSE To test the hypothesis that platform switching and regular implants would have different outcomes in single-tooth replacement against alternative of no difference. MATERIAL AND METHODS This study was designed as a randomised controlled split-mouth trial. Eighteen patients with bilaterally missing single premolars or molars to be restored implant-supported crowns, were consecutively enrolled. Implant sites randomly assigned treated according concept (PS group), matching implant-abutment diameters (RP group). A total 36 Nobel Replace Tapered Groovy installed. All inserted healed bone, an insertion torque between 35 45 Ncm, one-stage protocol. Both implant types loaded screw-retained temporary crown 3 months after insertion. Definitive crowns delivered 2 later. Outcome measures prosthetic survival rates, biological complications, radiographic marginal bone level (MBL) changes, pocket probing depth (PPD) bleeding on (BOP). Clinical data collected at placement (baseline), 3, 9 36 months loading. RESULTS No dropped out failed. complications recorded. One patient experienced mucosal inflammation positive BOP group) months, three had bilateral peri-implant 6, 24 30 loading, respectively. There statistically significant differences groups for (3/18 versus 4/18; P = 1.0; Odds Ratio = 1.333; 95% CI: 0.3467 5.1272). Nine mean MBL 0.93 ± 0.26 mm RP group 0.84 ± 0.23 mm PS group, (mean difference = 0.09 mm, -0.22 0.04, P = 0.18). Three years 1.09 ± 0.31 mm 1.06 ± 0.24 mm difference = 0.02 mm, -0.06 0.10, P = 0.70). Marginal changes baseline 0.72 ± 0.28 mm 0.71 ± 0.27 mm difference = -0.00 mm, 95% CI: -0.07 0.07, P = 0.89). Mean PPD 2.70 ± 0.52 mm 2.46 ± 0.69 mm difference = 0.23 mm, -0.05 0.35, P = 0.43). 0.83 ± 0.96 mm 0.89 ± 0.99 mm difference = 0.07 mm, -0.03 0.17, P = 0.77).
