摘要: BNCT is a form of brachyradiotherapy based on the nuclear fission that results from interaction boron-10 atom with thermal neutron.1,2,3 Lithium ions and alpha particles are produced in this annihilation reaction each deposits large amount energy within 10 microns original boron atom. The advantage individual components non-toxic to cell: chemical forms utilized neutron beam sufficiently low (0.5eV – 30keV) such radiation necrosis minimized normal tissue. clinical success depends accurate treatment planning respect dosimetry. However, protocols themselves dependent knowledge quantity present both targeted lesion as well non-targeted tissue characteristics beam. These data were not readily available researchers at time earlier trials.4
