摘要: Secondary production of benthic invertebrates was estimated for Delaware Bay and coastal Delaware. Production turnover ratios were highest in (P = 46,572 mg AFDW m−2 yr−1, P:B 6,O) progressively lower at two stations 7,501 to 30,124 2.3 5.3, P 4,485 4,492mg =2.3 4.8). inversely related sediment particle size. relatively evenly distributed between deposit feeding polychaetes suspension molluscs with a definite shift dominance the stations. Moreover, crustaceans echinoderms played larger role than Bay. Concerns about health soft-bottom communities expressed earlier not supported here. Finally, it concluded that P: B from area very similar those obtained other areas North Atlantic which agrees estimates estuaries northern hemisphere.
