摘要: VISAGE is a scientific visualization system implemented in an object-oriented, message passing environment. The includes over 500 classes ranging from and graphics to Xlib Motif user interface. Objects are created using compiled C interact through interpreted scripting language. result flexible yet efficient that has found wide application our community. This paper describes the object architecture major issues we faced when designing classes. Sample applications also described.
