摘要: 222 Rn concentration in soil gas from nineteen stations of Garfagnana valley (Central ltaly) was continuously monitored December 1990 to May 1993. activity measured by solid state nuclear track detector (SSNTD). Tracks detected spark-counter and optical microscope were proportionally constant for densities lower than 2500 tracks/cm2. Since time variations density both the same monitoring station different are significanfly higher fluctuations experimental conditions, validity radon measurements is confirmed. Data collected period indicate significant seasonal every station. Moreover, characteristics play an important role determining observed patterns. No correlation could be found between emission seismicity. However, it should noted that no earthquake with a magnitude 3.5 occurred during period.
