摘要: Abstract This paper describes the results of a series experiments carried out on card decks and foliated rock in order to study nucleation growth kinks. Parameters varied were confining pressure angle inclination between foliation direction maximum shortening. The showed that most kinks initiated as symmetric or monoclinal buckles which rapidly changed an angular, stable form similar observed nature. amount strain required set up this geometry is small. effect increasing diminish size while changing shortening modify style deformation from development conjugate at small angles (0 – 5°), single larger (5 15°), and, finally, combination sliding along kinking largest (15 30°) investigated. During change mode deformation, angular relationships directions applied loads systematically graphs are presented may be use relating natural principal stress directions.
