摘要: After the afforestation of agricultural land, forest herbs need to colonize recent site from source populations. Whereas dispersal is first bottleneck that limits colonization, (a)biotic legacies former land use can subsequently hamper establishment herbs. In two introduction experiments, we found different life stages (germination, recruitment, survival) were directly and indirectly hampered by nutrient enrichment fertilization (mainly phosphorus). We concluded strong in forests represent – just like other vegetation types a persistent limitation for development diverse herbaceous vegetation.
