摘要: Abstract In this study, in situ radioelemental (238U, 232Th and 40K) measurements heat production rate evaluation have been conducted at 132 sites the Gumushane Pluton of Eastern Pontides Orogenic Belt (EPOG) Northern Turkiye. The average K, U Th values for granites are 4.35 ± 0.71%, 5.85 ± 2.74 ppm, 22.13 ± 5.55 ppm, respectively; microgranites 4.33 ± 1.37%, 7.12 ± 2.23 ppm, 24.11 ± 9.59 ppm; metagranite 3.93 ± 0.68%, 6.24 ± 2.75 ppm, 12.87 ± 3.92 ppm; andesite/basalt 1.75 ± 0.74%, 3.22 ± 1.07 ppm, 9.01 ± 5.14 ppm. Based on abundances Th, radiogenic (RHP) values, which is a reflection geological rock types, estimated as 3.52 ± 1.03 μWm− 3, 3.86 ± 1.31 μWm− 3, 2.93 ± 0.89 μWm− 3, 1.68 ± 0.63 μWm− 3 granites, microgranites, metagranites andesite/basalt, respectively. value study area 2.83 ± 1.39 μWm− 3, closer to upper continental crustal value; contrary highest granitic basement lowest sedimentary rocks. region depicted with very high level Th/U ranging from 0.11 23.19 mean 3.53 ± 2.5, comparatively close estimate 3.8. numerical results verify that mantle-derived magmas subjected contamination both middle lower material constituted by fragments southerly dipping subduction Tethys Ocean during late Mesozoic–Cenozoic.
