摘要: Bilateral electrophysiologically guided lesions were placed in the nucleus of solitary tract (NST), parabrachial (PBN), and ventral posteromedial thalamic (VPMpc) rats, 15-min intake taste reactivity (TR) responses elicited by 3 concentrations each sucrose, NaCl, HCl, quinine (Q) HCl subsequently measured. Compared with controls, NST had no significant effects on intake, rats PBN consumed significantly more QHCl, HCl. Thalamic decreased sucrose intake. Analysis TR showed that QHCl threshold for aversive increased after VPMpc, PBN, lesions. Rats or unresponsive to increasing concentration. NaCl similar across groups.
