摘要: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has been consistently linked to risk for early substance use. However, the potential mediating mechanisms and moderators of this association remain unclear. The current study examined peer rejection, school bonding internalizing problems as mediators between childhood ADHD symptoms adolescent use in a longitudinal following children from fourth ninth grade. Results suggest that follow path initiation tobacco through combined effects rejection well alone. did not developmental pathways overall frequency or alcohol marijuana Neighborhood problems, family activities parenting styles moderate frequency. identify important development factors with highlight need primary prevention psychological interventions target these thus minimize during adolescence.
