摘要: Purpose Gastric cancer is the fourth most common malignant worldwide. Important for tumorigenesis and progression, aberrant glycosylation occurs frequently in cancers. We investigated differences O-glycosylation serum of 157 gastric patients (GC) 144 healthy donors. Experimental design We used method labeling O-glycans (released from proteins) with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone followed by LC-MS analysis. Analyzing data partial least squares discriminant unpaired Student t test, combined structural information LC-MS/MS positive mode. Results The expression level core1, core2, ST antigen, core2 complex (m/z 733.33, m/z 809.42) were increased significantly (p < 0.0001), whereas 529.75 diST-antigen decreased GC compared controls 0.001). In addition, there significant correlations between abundance glycoproteins (MUC1, CEA) GC. Conclusion clinical relevance Glycomics approaches identified multiple candidate antigens GC. The O-glycan structures are GC, they may be candidates carbohydrate tumor markers.
