摘要: A symmetric dielectric loaded surface plasmon polariton waveguide is proposed and numerically analyzed. The characteristics of the asymmetric bound modes, including effective mode indices, propagation lengths, sizes shapes at telecom wavelength 1.55μm are investigated in detail. simulation results show that sub-wavelength confinement (about 1.45μm) a long 820μm) can be realized.
