摘要: Abstract Better aligning agriculture and environmental policies is an important issue for Mediterranean areas. Minimizing conflicts between the two sectors requires better understanding farmers’ concerns. Using survey data among a sample of livestock farmers in French Alps, we examine main constraints they are confronted with. While France has adopted aimed at conservation natural habitats wildlife, which have contributed to “rewilding” mountains, responses suggest that growing presence wolves major concern, addition institutional market-related constraints. Given grassland changes, notably agricultural land abandonment areas, considered as problematic its consequences on agriculture, biodiversity landscape management, whether perceived by related abandonment. Applying probit regression our data, show perception wolf’s positively associated with level alpine grasslands. It only constraint significantly Our results implications design use support permanence mountain farming help breeders confront their particular
