摘要: We present new results for pulsating stars in general relativity. First we show that the so-called gravitational-wave modes of a neutron star can be excited when gravitational wave impinges on star. Numerical simulations suggest may astrophysically relevant, and discuss whether they will observable with future detectors. also how such observations could lead to estimates both radius mass star, thus put constraints nuclear equation state.
