摘要: In the present research building performance by incorporation of a Smart Window integrated LSC components into envelope is investigated in terms daylight and energy consumption. From point view, main objective was to provide ''usable'' interior offices, allowing electric lighting be replaced natural light reducing heating cooling loads. At same time, proposed system aimed increase visual comfort levels, ensuring productive enjoyable working environment. For evaluation purposes, simulations were performed for different configurations modulations Window. The software packages Radiance Desktop Ecotect used determination daylight-related indicators illuminance, uniformity index factor while energy-related ones, heating, demand, as well discomfort glare, identified advanced Energy Plus. Two case study buildings analyzed under two dominant conditions (overcast clear sky condition). By application firstly on an office room South facade ENI Donegani Institute Novara, Italy, secondly South-west Civil Engineering at campus TU Delft, Netherlands, useful conclusions drawn. results first analysis smart window showed advantages such better control solar radiation, higher distribution but also some drawbacks. building, its envelope, strongly dependent type that cover demand.
