摘要: In the present scenario, metalworking fluids or cutting are contributing a significant amount among consumables used in machining industry. Most of industries use oil-based fluids, which may cause skin and respiratory-related health issues to workers when they exposed for longer hours. These limitations lead developing non-oil-based novel this work, biodegradability performance newly developed fluid was measured compared with commonly by industries. Also, investigated AISI 420 stainless steel turbine blade material an uncoated carbide tool. To circulate recycle at zone, experimental setup developed. The estimated over dry environment conditions. experiments were designed based on Taguchi L27 orthogonal array while keeping removal rate as constant 668 mm3 s−1. control factors environment, depth cut, feed, speed. An optimal parameter combination minimal surface roughness 0.31 μm, tool wear 18.7 μm, temperature 178 °C obtained. This study is expected deliver scientific path toward development enhancing quality safety.
