摘要: Idiopathic eruptive macular pigmentation is an uncommon disorder of cutaneous hyperpigmentation unknown etiology. It affects mainly children and teenagers with both genders equally affected. Asymptomatic brown macules affecting the neck, trunk, proximal extremities are characteristic in various tones brown: light dark to macules. Lesions usually appear abruptly without history preceding inflammatory lesions or previous drug exposure. The surface most not different from uninvolved skin, although some may have a velvety surface. Mucous membranes nails spared. A biopsy pigmented spot shows increased number melanocytes basal-cell layer epidermis prominent melanophages papillary dermis, visible basal damage lichenoid infiltrate. mild perivascular, lymphocytic, histiocytic infiltrates be present. Differential diagnosis erythema dyschromicum perstans (EDP) “ashy” dermatosis which characterized by slowly progressive, occasionally pruritic ash-colored hyperpigmentation, adults, histologic changes presents vacuolization apoptotic bodies. Prognosis good all cases. Treatment unnecessary; cases, slow gradual spontaneous disappearance during several months years rule.
