Laminate Strength—A Direct Characterization Procedure

摘要: Laminate failure surface is represented by a third-order tensor polynominal. Experimental determination of the strength coefficients (the tensors) aided hybrid approach which utilizes an estimate determined from lamina criterion and laminated plate theory. The estimated laminate in turn identifies necessary critical experiments with consequence minimizing experimental permutation maximizing reliability thus determined.
