摘要: Abstract A novel class of epoxy matrix hybrid nanocomposites has been developed containing multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and nanodiamonds (NDs) to explore the combined effect nanoreinforcements on mechanical performance nanocomposites. Both nanofillers were functionalized before incorporating into promote interfacial interactions. The concentrations both MWCNTs NDs in increased systematically, i.e. 0.05 wt.%, 0.1 wt.% 0.2 wt.% while composites individual also manufactured for comparison. characterized microstructurally by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) mechanically tensile, flexural, impact hardness tests. Homogeneous dispersion was observed under SEM, which resulted enhancement properties showed 50% increase tensile strength modulus enhanced 70% 84%, respectively. Flexural a rise 104% 56%, Interestingly, fracture strain flexural testing. resistance 161% showing significant improvement toughness
