摘要: The task of determining patients' eligibility for clinical trials is knowledge and data intensive. In this paper, we present a model the determination, describe how computer system can assist researchers in performing that task. Qualitative probabilistic approaches to computing summarizing status potentially eligible patients are described. two compared, synthesis draws on strengths each approach proposed. result applying these techniques database HIV-positive patient cases suggests programs such as one described increase accrual rate into trials. These methods may also be applied from electronic records whether practice guidelines apply particular situations.
